Beware the Best Buy Optimization

Best Buy offers to do a "optimization" on new computers that claims to speed them up. This service is supposed to be optional for $39.95, but there are some stores that sell computers that are "pre-optimized." If they claim that they are sold out of the non-optimized computers, they will force you to buy one that is "pre-optimized" even if you don't want that service.
